This gives the applicant an additional 7 days into the moratorium to complete the work. In the future all maintenance dredging should be performed outside of the PNA moratorium period. If you have any further questions please give me a call. I don't think he does, but I will be glad to get a copy of the permit to you. Mr. Diamond indicated that he would start work today. He feels that, since he is doing the work himself, he needs until April 15th to complete the work. The permit's expiration date is reflective of the April Vt dredging moratorium. Mr. Diamond is requesting a two week extension (to April 15th) in order to complete his project. (He cites recent personal health issues as the reason for the extension request. This hardship caused an unexpected delay on the project.) Will the NCDMF grant Mr. Diamond's request?
