Sorry, I thought that was covered.
Obviously, the Town of Morehead City waives the 15' setback for the temporary installation of the floating docks
related to the Crystal Coast Superboat Gran Prix.
If there is anything more you need please advise.

Subject: super boat temp docks
Hello Mr. McCabe,
Jeff just dropped off the letter from you for the super boat race however, there is no statement waiving the 15' setback
for these docks and I do believe it will encroach. Is there any way you can email me that the town waives the 15' setback
for this temporary structure as you did last year?
Thanks O Heather

Heather,
Based on coordination with our navigation branch, as long as no permanent pilings are
established in the setback, and the floating docks cannot extended into the Federal channel
limits and they must be removed by 9/2/11, no exceptions.

Hey Dave,
It's that time of year again when the grand prix super boat race is happening August 19-21.
Jacks Waterfront Bar @ 513 Evans Street (Jeff McCann) is requesting to install the temporary
docks again for this event as they do every year. Their existing dock is at the setback line
and the temporary (3@ 3' x' 21 floating) docks would be 21' in the setback. They would be
required by us to remove these no later than 9/2/11. Do you think the navigation branch would
allow this? Thanks, Heather
