S E P 0 8 2000 COASTAL MANAGEMENT The Board of Salty Shores Canal Owners Association met on August 25, 2000 to review application of Johnny and Patsy Brewer and Patricia Brann for installation of a boat lift on lot #3, F&J Subdivision, Salty Shores. Proposed plan is attached with our seal affixed. Board members attending were Walton, Rouse, Weeks. Director Brewer abstained. This application was approved as follows: The applicants are to obtain CAMA and building permits as may be required by law prior to beginning construction and the notification of adjoining property owners. No part of boat lift will exceed 1/4 (one fourth) of the distance of the canal measuring from bulkhead to bulkhead. Measurements to include pilings supporting the boat lift. Canal width is 58 feet at this location. Construction will not exceed 14.6 feet from your bulkhead including pilings. Contractor may alter position of pilings parallel to the bulkhead to compensate for existing construction and to insure proper operation of boat lift. Contractor will be responsible to the Salty Shores Canal Owners Association, Inc. for insuring that width restriction of 14.6 feet is not exceeded.
