This permit is subject to compliance with this application, site drawing
and attached general and specific conditions. Any violation of these terms
may subject the permittee to a fine, imprisonment or civil action; and
may cause the permit to become null and void.
This permit must be on the project site and accessible to the permit of-
ficer when the project is inspected for compliance. The applicant certi-
fies by signing this permit that 1) this project is consistent with the local
land use plan and all local ordinances, and 2) a written statement has
been obtained from adjacent riparian landowners certifying that they
have no objections to the proposed work.
In issuing this permit the State of North Carolina certifies that this project
is consistent with the North Carolina Coastal Management Program.

Attached is General Permit #C-24373 to install four pilings and a boat lift in Craven County adjacent to
the Trent River at 4505 Tenella Road in the Trent Woods community near New Bern.
In order to validate this permit, please sign all three (3) copies as indicated. Retain the white copy for
your files and return the yellow and pink signed copies to us in the enclosed, self-addressed envelope.

Dear Mr. Jones,
I am enclosing the statements of the adjacent Reparian Property owners.
The work proposed was the addition of 4 pilings beside the present dock as
inspected by you. The 4 pilings will support a new boat lift to be constructed on
the right side of the dock adjacent to the catwalk. No other catwalk is planned.
A 90 day permit from your department is requested and the $50 fee for this is
enclosed.
Many thanks for the prompt and efficient manner in which the initial inspection
was made.
