Statement of Compliance and Consistency
This permit is subject to compliance with this application, site drawing and attached general and specific conditions. Any
violation of these terms may subject the permittee to a fine or criminal or civil action; and may cause the permit to become
null and void.
This permit must be on the project site and accessible to the permit officer when the project is inspected for compliance. The
applicant certifies by signing this permit that 1) prior to undertaking any activities authorized by this permit, the applicant will
confer with appropriate local authorities to confirm that this project is consistent with the local land use plan and all local
ordinances, and 2) a written statement or certified mail return receipt has been obtained from the adjacent riparian
landowner(s) .
The State of North Carolina and the Division of Coastal Management, in issuing this permit under the best available
information and belief, certifythatthis project is consistent with the North Carolina Coastal Management Program.

The new wall will be 2 to 4 foot in front of the existing wall.
It will be 425 CMI vinyl, 18 ft high ( 9 ft into ground, 9 ft above)
with 8 inch piles, and dead men to anchor it. It will have 3 whalers
and turn the corners at each end to tie into the side walls.
The SE bq ft (approximately) of the existing will be removed while the
NW 45ft remains in place. The area between the walls will be backfilled.
The upper retaining wall will be removed and replaced with one approximately
the same length but with deeper piles & sheets (treated wood).
I am including provisions for at least one Jetty, not to exceed 25 ft,
to build up sand in front of the wall. This "beach" may build to both the
NW & SE of the depending on winds.
