This letter is in reference to your CAMA General Permit that was issued
on May 4. 2000. This permit authorized the construction of a dock all
the shoreline of property located at Rt. 4, Box 732, Ferry Road within the
waters of man-made canal which connects to Deep Creek in Perquimans
County.

On September 26, 2000, a site visit was conducted to determine and
confirm that your project was completed in accordance with the Specific
Conditions concerning pier and dock structures as referenced in
Subchapter Sections 7H
.0208 and 7H .1200 of the North Carolina

Administrative Code and the Coastal Area Management Act. During this
inspection, it became apparent that you have not completed all the work

proposed and previously authorized under the above referenced General

Permit- As a courtesy, I wish to remind you that CAMA Permit 25310 A
expired on August 1, 2000. Since the remaining work falls within the
permit jurisdictional areas defined as Public Trust Area, as described in
Subchapter Section 7H .0207 of the North Carolina Administrative Code,

permit authorization will be required from this Division prior to the

completion of this project as originally approved in CAMA General
Permit 25310 A.
