Box 159 Pantego, NC 27860 Dear Mr. Ahearn, The NCWRC Division of Engineering Services recently received a letter regarding Tideland EMC's intent to replace an overhead three phase power line that is adjacent to SR1103 and crosses Broad Creek near Lee's Landing Boating Access Area (BAA) in Pamlico County. I have enclosed a copy of the signed form from Division of Coastal Management saying the NCWRC does not have any objections to this work. However, we do request being informed before construction actually begins within the Lees Landing BAA, so that we can be aware and able to post notices to inform the public. The Division of Engineering Services is in the planning and design phase of renovating the ramp and dock for Lees Landing BAA. In order to make sure our design proposal does not conflict with your power line renovation, NCWRC would like to request a detailed drawing of the Lee's Landing Area where the renovated power line will cross and its location in reference to an existing point on site. I have enclosed a copy of our design drawing including the existing conditions, which includes the location of NCWRC's two control points and the geodetic monument on site at Lee's Landing Boating Access Area.
