MOFFITT DIRECTOR Dear Garry. f=:> The North Carolina Division of Coastal Management (DCM) has received a title opinion on this V' project site from Jimmie Hicks, attorney representing Pamlico County. The title opinion is N�. '£ hereby approved and as of today's date, the County is authorized to expend grant funds for the Y 't' Styrontown Beach Road Access. Funds previously expended for grading activities at the site . may not be charged to the grant or used as local match for this project. . DCM also approves the County's request to modify the project to construct a 100' x 6' pier with a 16' x 16' platform at the end, instead of the 100' x 8' pier that was originally proposed. This modification is approved with the knowledge that no additional grant funds are available for the project. I understand that DCM issued CAMA General Permit #25518-C on May 5, 2000 for the pier and shoreline stabilization components of the project. Please be sure that all other required permits are obtained prior to beginning work. Thank you for your interest in providing public access for residents and visitors to Pamlico u . County.
