Swan point dredging in Swansboro did the work. It was done after I bought my lot but before we moved. I also clearly remember that we had an understanding with the Barnesfield folks that we would stay away from the bridge a safe distance. They were concerned about undermining the pilings. After the dredging was done, David and I removed by hand some old pilings directly under the bridge and stood in the water while doing so. P3. Reply Separator Subject: Re[2]: lots of things Author: Tere Barrett at NROBA03P Date: 2/3/99 2:06 PM Pres, I just got a message from David Waller that he had checked his permit and it was to REMOVE 3' of material from BOTH SIDES of the bridge. He said depending on the amount of water he had going in, which he didn't know, the finished depth might have been >4'. Who knows. I wonder if he may never have done the work, even though he had a permit, cause everyone else seems to think that it has never been dredged under or above the bridge. Just thought I'd tell ya. T
