Statement of Compliance and Consistency
This permit is subject to compliance with this application, site drawing and attached general and specific conditions. Any
violation of these terms may subject the permittee to a fine or criminal or civil action; and may cause the permit to become
null and void.
This permit must be on the project site and accessible to the permit officer when the project is inspected for compliance. The
applicant certifies by signing this permit that 1) prior to undertaking any activities authorized by this permit, the applicant will
confer with appropriate local authorities to confirm that this project is consistent with the local land use plan and all local
ordinances, and 2) a written statement or certified mail return receipt has been obtained from the adjacent riparian
landowner(s) .
The State of North Carolina and the Division of Coastal Management, in issuing this permit under the best available
information and belief, certify that this project is consistent with the North Carolina Coastal Management Program.

A riparian bjffer authorizati n is required for pier and docking facilities access ways through the Tar -Pamlico
Neuse River Riparian buffer per Division of Water Quality (DWO) regulations 15A NCAC 0213.0233 & .a259.
The Division of Coastal Management (QCM), through a Memorandum of Understanding with the Division of
Water Quality (DWO) has reviev vd your project proposal, determined that the project as proposed complies
with the aforementioned regulations, anti rnader a "no prac4ieal 61ternatives" determination per these
regulations,
Those activities covered by you il Coastal Area Management Act (CAMA) perrnit have received Buffer
Authorization as long as the project is cons
constructed in a manner that continues to meat all of the conditions
listed below. Failure to comply With this Buffer Authorization shall subject the property owner & the party
(contractor) performing the ons� tjction Wor land clearing to a civil penalty of up to S25,000 per day per
violation.
