The original wooden walkway was 697'. The town request permission to repair the southern most 300' of walkway and rebuild the northern most 397' of destroyed walkway in the same footprint as the original walkway. The depth of the water at the end of the original wooden pier footprint as measured on November 2, 2006 at low tide (2:10PM) was 16" in Archer's Creek. I further understand that the damaged sections of the pier will be reconstructed within the same footprint of the old sections and, as such, the location of the pier will not change.
