Statement of Compliance and Consistency
This permit is subject to compliance with this application, site drawing and attached general and specific conditions. Any
violation of these terms may subject the permittee to a fine or criminal or civil action; and may cause the permit to become
null and void.
This permit must be on the project site and accessible to the permit officer when the project is inspected for compliance. The
applicant certifies by signing this permit that 1) prior to undertaking any activities authorized by this permit, the applicant will
confer with appropriate local authorities to confirm that this project is consistent with the local land use plan and all local
ordinances, and 2) a written statement or certified mail return receipt has been obtained from the adjacent riparian
landowner(s) .
The State of North Carolina and the Division of Coastal Management, in issuing this permit under the best available
information and belief, certify that this project is consistent with the North Carolina Coastal Management Program.

Pittman's property. Consequently, we have decided to bulkhead it because the erosion
will only get worse if we do nothing.
As part of the process to get a bulkhead, CAMA requires us to notify our

Fulcher Court, Atlantic, North Carolina. I am enclosing the following documents:
1. A copy of my certified letter of 2/2/06 to my adjacent neighbors, Steven R.
and Joanne McCarthy and the Certified Mail Receipt and the signed Certified Mail
acceptance card.
2. A letter of 3/11/06 from my other adjacent neighbor, Emmett Pittman, stating
that he has no objection to my building a bulkhead on my lot.
3. A copy of the plat showing the lot and my adjacent neighbors.
4. A check made payable to NCDENR in the amount of $100.00 for the permit
application.
