Any violation of these terms may subject the permittee to a fine or criminal or civil action; and may cause the permit to become null and void. This permit must be on the project site and accessible to the permit officer when the project is inspected for compliance. The applicant certifies by signing this permit that 1) prior to undertaking any activities authorized by this permit, the applicant will confer with appropriate local authorities to confirm that this project is consistent with the local land use plan and all local ordinances, and 2) a written statement or certified mail return receipt has been obtained from the adjacent riparian landowner(s) . Attached is a map of existing marina and a drawing showing the area that they would like to dredge. Our calculations put us at needing to dredge approximately 700 cubic yards. We realize the maximum amount for a maintenance permit is 1000 cubic yards. If we can we would like to be given a permit for the maximum amount if possible, just in case we need to take more out than calculated. Please contact me when you set date for site inspection. We would like to move along with this as quickly as possible, so look forward to hearing from you as soon as possible. I can be contacted at 252-723-8500.
