Statement of Compliance and Consistency
This permit is subject to compliance with this application, site drawing and attached general and specific conditions. Any
violation of these terms may subject the permittee to a fine or criminal or civil action; and may cause the permit to become
null and void.
This permit must be on the project site and accessible to the permit officer when the project is inspected for compliance. The
applicant certifies by signing this permit that 1) prior to undertaking any activities authorized by this permit, the applicant will
confer with appropriate local authorities to confirm that this project is consistent with the local land use plan and all local
ordinances, and 2) a written statement or certified mail return receipt has been obtained from the adjacent riparian
landowner(s) .
The State of North Carolina and the Division of Coastal Management, in issuing this permit under the best available
information and belief, certify that this project is consistent with the North Carolina Coastal Management Program.

ADJACENT RIPARIAN PROPERTY OWNER'S STATEMENT
I hereby certify that the Town of Cape Carteret owns the public access property
adjacent to James M. Lamb's property located at lots 72 and 73 Bayshore Park
Block A at 312 Boque Sound Dr. on Boque Sound in Cape Carteret, N.C. He
has described to me as indicated on the marked -up plot plan revised 7-12-99 the
development he is proposing at that location and I have no objections to his
proposal.
Description and/or drawing of proposed development:
Approximately 185 ft. of marine grade wooden bulkhead or stone rip -rap is to be
placed along the Southside of my lot at 312 Bouge Sound Dr. that is adjacent to
Bogue Sound. It will tie into the Town of Cape Carteret's bulkhead that protects
the public access area and to the existing bulkhead on my property. This barrier
is to prevent erosion of my property and undermining of the Town's bulkhead. It
will be constructed as depicted on the marked -up plot plan revised 7-12-99 that
is attached. Also remove the tree stumps caused by Hurricane Fran from the
property to facilitate mowing and maintenance of the property in order to comply
with the Town of Cape Carteret's vacant lot ordinances.

get the bulkhead installed before August. As you know it is Hurricane season
