Ms. Sotebeer objects to the issuance of a permit for the proposed dock on the following grounds: The lot in question is 36 feet wide on Bogue Sound. Without the waiver of the party on the West that would leave only 6 feet for the placement of the proposed 5 foot dock. Should a boat be docked on the east side of the dock it will have to be within the 15 foot setback area. Ms Sotebeer and her guests use this area for swimming and are concerned that the close quarters will make it dangerous. 2. The proposed dock does not appear to lineup with the channel for the Intercostal Waterway in Bogue Sound. Based upon the placement of the other docks which have an orientation more in an Easterly direction as they extend north.
