The applicant certifies by signing this permit that 1) prior to undertaking any activities authorized by this permit, the applicant will confer with appropriate local authorities to confirm that this project is consistent with the local land use plan and all local ordinances, and 2) a written statement or certified mail return receipt has been obtained from the adjacent riparian landowner(s) . The new underwater power line, once installed, will take the place of the existing overhead, wood pole supported power lines. Once the new lines are operational, the existing overhead lines will be removed. Please accept this as the City's Application for CAMA permit for this work. We contacted several of the land owners and they were not aware that a Land Owners Association was in existence. My feeling would be to send the notification with request for receipt and put it in the file. Lewis, we are not familiar with where you intend the Tryon Palace bores to be made, but feel like they cannot be that difficult to survey.
