This permit is subject to compliance with this application, site drawing and attached general and specific conditions. Any
violation of these terms may subject the permittee to a fine or criminal or civil action; and may cause the permit to become
null and void.
This permit must be on the project site and accessible to the permit officer when the project is inspected for compliance. The
applicant certifies by signing this permit that 1) prior to undertaking any activities authorized by this permit, the applicant will
confer with appropriate local authorities to confirm that this project is consistent with the local land use plan and all local
ordinances, and 2) a written statement or certified mail return receipt has been obtained from the adjacent riparian
landowner(s) .
The State of North Carolina and the Division of Coastal Management, in issuing this permit under the best available
information and belief, certify that this project is consistent with the North Carolina Coastal Management Program.

• If you have sold the real property assessed to you, please forward this tax notice

• The current year's tax is due September Ist and must be paid by January 5th to
avoid legal action. Partial payments are accepted prior to the delinquent date.
Interest begins January 6th at a rate of 2% for the first month and 3/4% each -
month thereafter. Delinquent taxes are subject to immediate levy, garnishment i
or foreclosure. Unpaid taxes are advertised in the name of the listing taxpayer as '
of January 1st.
• Payments submitted by mail are deemed to be received as of the date of the U.S.
Postal Service postmark. t
• A 10% penalty will be charged for checks returned unpaid because of i
insufficient fiords. Tax receipts are null and void if payment is made with a
check that is returned unpaid by the bank. i
• Due to postage costs receipts will not be sent for mail payments. Please retain
your cancelled check and top portion of statement as proof of payment.
• During January each year, owners are required to list unlicensed vehicles,
trucks, trailers, motorcycles, boats and motors, mobile homes, aircraft and i
personal propperty used in a trade or business. New construction to land and
buildings wit the preceding year must be reported. Penalties apply when such
listings are not made.
• Effective January 1, 1993, licensed vehicles are "listed" for property tax
purposes when applying for license plates or registration at Division of Motor
Vehicle licensing agencies, Taxes on each vehicle are billed individually with
taxes due on the first day of the fourth month following date of the registration
expiration or the date of the application for a new registration.
• Personal Property only -- taxpayer may appeal the value, situs, or taxability
