Re: Proposed New Dock for Patrick & Harriett Joyce, Lot #3, (Over the Brook)
Atlantic Loop Road, Atlantic, NC
Dear Mr. Brydge,
I am enclosing a drawing showing our proposed new dock and boat lift for our lot
#3 which adjoins your lot. As you can see, we propose for our construction to begin
19 feet plus to the east of your lot. We are asking for your approval, with no
objections, as stated on the attached CAMA form.
We have visited the site with our marine contractor and have located the channel
which parallels the existing shoreline at low tide. The 4 feet depth begins at the 200
ft. mark, from the highwater mark on shore and runs another 200 plus feet south
(offshore) to a depth of 4 Y2 feet, then the bottom begins to rise. We feel the
proposed dock will not hamper boating traffic. The dock will be high and smaller
boats can pass under the proposed dock.
Sincerely,
t, j'
Patrick Jo ce
