The pier as proposed will be contained completely within Mr. Hodges' riparian access area, and will be set back a minimum of 15' from the riparian limit on your side (North Carolina Administrative Code 07H.1200, See Attached). The project as proposed is consistent with the appropriate rules and regulations of the Division. Therefore, on 31 May 2001 David Moye of my staff issued CAMA General Permit No. 27651-B to Beaufort County authorizing the aforementioned project. (See Attached) If you wish to appeal this permit decision, you may file a request with the Director of the Division of Coastal Management, Department of Environment and Natural Resources within 20 days of the permit decision.
