Dear Betty:
I am writing in follow-up to our telephone conversation earlier today
about the dock we are building on the lot next to yours in Cedar Point.
As I said on the phone, our dock was planned so that it would not extend
into your 15 ft. setback area of rpiarian property rights. However,
the builder did not center the long finger of the pier accurately with
the result that the left horizontal portion extends four feet into your
15 ft setback area. I am enclosing a copy of the CAMA permit which
shows the drawing of the pier we were given permission to build, and I
have marked in red where it extends four feet into your property setback
area.
As I explained on the telephone, the CAMA officer needs for you to be
willing to waive the 15 ft. setback requirement or we will need to
remove 4 feet from the dock. I really appreciate your patience with us
on all these requests and your willingness to waive the 15 ft setback
so that we do not have to change what has already been built. As I
said, we will be happy to do the same should you ever decide to build
your dock.
What I need is for you to sign the enclosed form and indicate your
willingness to waive the 15 ft. setback. I have enclosed a prepaid
express mailing label so that you can return the form to me via FedEx.
That way we can clarify this matter for the CAMA officials as soon
as possible.
If you have any additional questions about this issue, please feel

you come down for a stay at your place.
