Dear Ms. Manning: JAN 1 6 2001 The Division of Coastal Management has reviewed your 2 January 2001 correspondence objecting to the above referenced project. The pier as proposed will be contained completely within Mr. Hiinson's riparian access area, and will be set back a minimum of 15' from the riparian limit on your side (North Carolina Administrative Code 07H.1200, See Attached). The bulkhead alignment does not exceed that allowed by CAMA and Dredge and Fill General Permits (NCAC 07H. 1100, See Attached). Therefore, on 10 January 20011 issued CAMA General Permit No. 260666-B to Mr. Doug Hinson authorizing the aforementioned project. (See Attached) If you wish to appeal this permit decision, you may file a request with the Director of the Division of Coastal Management, Department of Environment and Natural Resources within 20 days of the permit decision.
