This permit is subject to compliance with this application, site drawing
and attached general and specific conditions. Any violation of these terms
may subject the permittee to a fine, imprisonment or civil action; and
may cause the permit to become null and void.
This permit must be on the project site and accessible to the permit of-
ficer when the project is inspected for compliance. The applicant certi-
fies by signing this permit that 1) this project is consistent with the local
land use plan and all local ordinances, and 2) a written statement has
been obtained from adjacent riparian landowners certifying that they
have no objections to the proposed work.
In issuing this permit the State of North Carolina certifies that this project
is consistent with the North Carolina Coastal Management Program.

Attached is General Permit ##C-27504 to maintain excavate an area 50' x 12' x -3' NWL to a maximum
depth of -6' NWL in Craven County adjacent to 212 Outrigger Road off Plantation Drive within
Plantation Canal in the River Bend community.
In order to validate this permit, please sign all three (3) copies as indicated. Retain the white copy for
your files and return the yellow and pink signed copies to us in the enclosed, self-addressed envelope.

Dear Mr. Jones,
By way of this letter, I wish to apply for a permit for maintenance excavation (dredging)
of the portion of the boat slip, which is part of the property at 212 Outrigger Rd., River
Bend, NC. Enclosed please find permit application fee ($100.00), site plot showing
dimensions of the project area, and statements of adjacent riparian property owners. The
project will be for maximum excavation of 6 ft.
Note that the project area is within 15 ft of the property known as 106 Knotline, which is
owned by Mr. Robert Osterberg. It is greater than 15 ft from the other adjacent riparian
property owner, Mr. Oliver Heim, who did not waive the setback requirements.
