This permit is subject to compliance with this application, site arawing
and attached general and specific conditions. Any violation of these terms
may subject the permittee to a fine, imprisonment or civil action; and
may cause the permit to become null and void.
This permit must be on the project site and accessible to the permit of-
ficer when the project is inspected for compliance. The applicant certi-
fies by signing this permit that 1) this project is consistent with the local
land use plan and all local ordinances, and 2) a written statement has
been obtained from adjacent riparian landowners certifying that they
have no objections to the proposed work.
In issuing this permit the State of North Carolina certifies that this project
is consistent with the North Carolina Coastal Management Program.

Subdivision).

your files and return the yellow and pink signed copies to us in the enclosed, self-addressed envelope.

DIVISION OF COASTAL MANAGEMENT
DONNA D. MOFFITT This office has received your request for a mooring within Smith Creek and adjacent to 9205
DIRECTOR Hornigold in the Buccaneer Bay Subdivision rear the To= of Oriental in Pamlico County. The
following information is requested before we can consider the application as complete and
processing can begin.
1. The Adjacent Riparian Property Owner Statement forms you submitted have been
ompleted incorrectly. The Name of Property Owner and Lot, Block, Road, etc. sections
n9Mhould list the name of the property owner requesting the mooring as well as his/her physical
O location. Please make the necessary corrections.
2. d on the information submitted, it appears that you are not the property owner of 9205
i old. As a result you will need to obtain a letter from the roe owner authorizing

you to apply for a permit on their behalf.
3. Before a permit determination can be made a drawing depicting the following information is
required:
❑ the width of the property adjacent to the proposed mooring location;
5e6 ❑ the swing diameter of the boat tied to the mooring;
6,\)C,t,0_S0& ❑ distance from the mooring to shore;
❑ distance across the water body at proposed mooring location; and
❑ any nearby marked or traditional navigation channels.
T he following information is also required as part of the applicatio terial:
❑ type of freestanding mooring (tie pole, helix anchor mushroom etc.);

At this time, the permit request is considered to be incomplete and processing cannot begin until
these items are addressed. As a result I am returning the application package to you so that the
