quirement pursuant to 15 NCAC 7K .0203. This exemption to
CAMA permit requirements does not alleviate the necessity of
your obtaining any other State, Federal, or Local authorization.
This certification of exemption from requiring a CAMA permit is
valid for 90 days from the date of issuance. Following expiration,
a re-examination of the project and project site may be necessary
to continue this certification.

sent of a CAMA official under the mistaken assumption that the
development is exempted, will be in violation of the CAMA if there
is a subsequent determination that a permit was required for the
development.

plicant has read and will abide by the conditions of this exemp-
tion, and (2) a written statement has been obtained from adjacent
landowners certifying that they have no objections to the
proposed work.

FOR DEVELOPERS IN OCEAN HAZARD AND ESTUARINE HAZARD AREAS:
I acknowledge that the land owner is aware that the proposed development is planned for an area which may
be susceptible to erosion and/or flooding. I acknowledge that the local permit officer has explained to me the
particular hazard problems associated with this lot. This explanation was accompanied by recommendations
concerning stabilization and floodproofing techniques.
PERMISSION TO ENTER ON LAND
I furthermore certify that I am authorized to grant and do in fact grant permission to the local permit officer
and his agents to enter on the aforementioned lands in connection with evaluating information related to this
permit application.
This application includes: general information (this form), a site drawing as described on the back of this ap-
plication, the ownership statement, the AEC hazard notice where necessary, a check for $50.00 made payable to
the locality, and any information as may be provided orally by the applicant. The details of the application as
described by these sources are incorporated without reference in any permit which may be issued. Deviation
from these details will constitute a violation of any permit. Any person developing in an AEC without a per-
mit is subject to civil, criminal and administrative action.

General Statute 113-229 that riparian landowners with property adjoining a
proposed excavation and/or fill project be given thirty (30) days in which
to comment on the project. This form allows the adjacent riparian
landowner to express either: (1) that he objects to the project or, (2)
that he does not object and desires to waive his right to the 30-day
period so that the processing of the application can progress more
rapidly. Of course, the adjacent riparian landowner need not sign this
form at all, if he so chooses.

Dear IV�ors:
Per my phone message I left for you earlier today, I am enclosing the aforementioned
check. There was no permit fee associated with Exemption issuances for lots 58, 59 & 60
Cherry Branch West Phase H. I have combined checks 2506 & 2507 to cover the permit
fee ($100) for lot 61. The Schulte's project involved a linear distance greater than 200
feet, which elevated that authorization to a CAMA General Permit.
Please let me know when you are ready for me to issue these. All permits will have an
expiration date 90 days after the issuance date. All work is to be completed by the
expiration date.
