The proposed project to be located and constructed as described
above is hereby certified as exempt from the CAMA permit re-
quirement pursuant to 15 NCAC 7K .0203. This exemption to
CAMA permit requirements does not alleviate the necessity of
your obtaining any other State, Federal, or Local authorization.
This certification of exemption from requiring a CAMA permit is
valid for 90 days from the date of issuance. Following expiration,
a re-examination of the project and project site may be necessary
to continue this certification.

Any person who proceeds with a development without the con-
sent of a CAMA official under the mistaken assumption that the
development is exempted, will be in violation of the CAMA if there
is a subsequent determination that a permit was required for the
Development.
The applicant certifies by signing this exemption that (1) the ap-
plicant has read and will abide by the conditions of this exemp-
tion, and (2) a written statement has been obtained from adjacent
landowners certifying that they have no objections to the
proposed work.

private pier on the White Oak River, at SR1106, in Carteret County.

yellow copy and the attached regulation (7K .0203) for your files and return the blue and green
signed copies to us in the enclosed, self-addressed envelope.

This letter io a request for a CAMA permit to construct
a private, family, residential dock on our property, which
consists of forty acres located on West Firetower Road off
of Highway 58, Carteret County. Mr. John Yost, Building
Inspector for this area, informed me that our property is
bordered by the U. S. Government (National Forest) on our
left and a Mrs. Lucille Morse on our right. Enclosed
please find a permission letter signed by Mrs. Morse. A
letter has been mailed to the U. S. Forest Service and
should be returned to me soon. At that time I will send
you that permission letter and a visable scale map of
our property and plans for the dock.

As required by CAMA regulations, this letter is to
advise you of our intent to construct a private pier on
our property located on West Firetower Road off of Hwy.
58, which is adjacent to property owned by the U.S. govern-
ment. The pier will be a private, family residential pier
and will be 200 feet long. If you have no objections to
the construction of this pier, please sign this letter and
return it to me as soon as possible so that I can forward
it on to the CAMA office.
