violation of these terms may subject the permittee to a fine,
imprisonment or civil action; and may cause the permit to be-
come null and void. t
This permit must be on the project site and accessible to the
permit officer when the project is inspected for compliance.
The applicant certifies by signing this permit that 1) this pro-
ject is consistent with the local land use plan and all local issuing date
ordinances, and 2) a written statement has been obtained from
adjacent riparian landowners certifying that they have no
objections to the proposed work. attachments

Dear Mr. Lee:
Attached please find LAMA emergency general. permit #12843A
issued to NC DOT for the emergency work to be performed at the
Oregon inlet. Bridge,, Oregon Inlet, Dare County. The emergency work
includes the placement of 9000 tons, 6500 cubic yards of rock rip
rap around the pilings for bents #143-#144. The rock will be
placed in area approximately 120' x 1501.
You will need to sign the permit in the bottom right corner.
Keep the white top sheet for your records and return the yellow and
pink copies in the enclosed addressed envelope.
