This permit is subject to compliance with this application, site drawing and attached general and specific conditions. Any
violation of these terms may subject the permittee to a fine or criminal or civil action; and may cause the permit to become
null and void.
This permit must be on the project site and accessible to the permit officer when the project is inspected for compliance. The
applicant certifies by signing this permit that 1) prior to undertaking any activities authorized by this permit, the applicant will
confer with appropriate local authorities to confirm that this project is consistent with the local land use plan and all local
ordinances, and 2) a written statement or certified mail return receipt has been obtained from the adjacent riparian
landowner(s) .

PIERCE CREEK WATER DEPTH
Backiround
On 4/21/03, Landon and I took soundings of Pierce Creek Channel and the marina side
channels using a Speed Tech hand held depth sounder.
On 4/21/02, the water depth at the gauge on "C" dock was 7.3 feet and the lowest found
in the channel center was 7.0 feet. Lowest depth on the green side was 5.1 feet and 5.3
feet on the red side.
The big question was, "What is normal water level and how does it vary over time?"
The center of the "0" on the "C" dock gauge is 6.5 feet, so on 4/21/03 the water level was
up .8 feet from "0". Therefore, when the "C" dock gauge is at zero, the low point in the
channel centerline is 6.2 feet and 4.3 feet on the green side and 4.5 feet on the red side.
Since 4/21/03, I have taken soundings at the "C" dock gauge in an effort to answer the
above question. Results follow.
