Statement of Compliance and Consistency
This permit is subject to compliance with this application, site drawing and attached general and specific conditions. Any
violation of these terms may subject the permittee to a fine or criminal or civil action; and may cause the permit to become
null and void.
This permit must be on the project site and accessible to the permit officer when the project is inspected for compliance. The
applicant certifies by signing this permit that 1) prior to undertaking any activities authorized by this permit, the applicant will
confer with appropriate local authorities to confirm that this project is consistent with the local land use plan and all local
ordinances, and 2) a written statement or certified mail return receipt has been obtained from the adjacent riparian
landowner(s) .
The State of North Carolina and the Division of Coastal Management, in issuing this permit under the best available
information and belief, certifythatthis project is consistentwith the North Carolina Coastal Management Program.

Attached is General Permit #C-39304 for Keith Silver to install a 237' x 6' to an 8' x 24' "L"
platform with an uncovered boatlift and three mooring pilings in Craven County adjacent to the
Trent River within the Trent Woods S/D at 135 Trent Shores Drive, New Bern, NC.
In order to validate this permit, please sign all three (3) copies as indicated. Retain the white
copy for your files and return the signed yellow and pink copies to us in the enclosed, self-
addressed envelope. If the signed permit copies are not returned to this office before the initiation
of development, you will be working without authorization and will be subject to a Notice of
Violation and subsequent civil penalties.

Quality Craftsmanship from
the Ground Up!
Enclosed is the revised drawing for Mr. Keith Silver. The changes that are to be made
include:
- Remove the 8'x24' 'L" section and replace it with a 12'x16' floating dock.
- The floating dock will face the right side instead of the left.
- The proposed uncovered boat lift will then be placed on the right side.
- The (3) mooring pilings will be moved from the left side to the right side, and
still placed 20' from the side of the dock.
- Because of the 3' gain of platform on the floating dock, the dock has been
reduced to a 190' instead of 192' over the water.
So basically, all the structures have been flipped around. What was on the right is now
on the left and what was on the left is now on the right with the addition of the floating
dock and minus the "L" section.

the permit at [phone] or you can mail it.
