Statement of Compliance and Consistency
This permit is subject to compliance with this application, site drawing and attached general and specific conditions. Any
violation of these terms may subject the permittee to a fine or criminal or civil action; and may cause the permit to become
null and void.
This permit must be on the project site and accessible to the permit officer when the project is inspected for compliance. The
applicant certifies by signing this permit that 1) prior to undertaking any activities authorized by this permit, the applicant will
confer with appropriate local authorities to confirm that this project is consistent with the local land use plan and all local
ordinances, and 2) a written statement or certified mail return receipt has been obtained from the adjacent riparian
Iandowner(s) .
The State of North Carolina and the Division of Coastal Management, in issuing this permit under the best available
information and belief, certify that this project is consistent with the North Carolina Coastal Management Program.

Hello,
I'm emailing the front desk hoping to find out the status of our pier plan review.
The address of the property is 300 Morse Rd, Lot 16 Swansboro in Carteret County. It's in the name of Chris Nipper.
I'm not sure who to contact and was hoping you may be able to help me or forward this to to the right person.
The pier was destroyed by hurricane Fran and we're wanting to replace it this summer.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Good morning. Received your e-mail along with the attachment of the plot plan. The plot plan is fine. To
answer your questions:
1.
We will only need one copy of the plot plan but will need three (3) copies of plans
showing the materials you are going to use on the pier and how you are going to
build it.
2.
We will need a copy of the CAMA permit. If you are having a contractor or sub-
contractors do the work for you, we will need notarized statements (signatures
notarized) from them stating they have been authorized to do the work at that location
along with their license number and phone number. Three set of plans to be signed by
the inspector. We will need the name of your friend, the property location, phone
number, a statement from Morse's Mobile Home Park stating you have permission to
do this.
3.
We must complete our permits in house. If you would like to go ahead and mail the
items listed in number two we can start the process. You must come in and sign the
permit and make payment once the inspector has signed the plans.
4.
Our office is located in Beaufort. However, we do have an office in Cedar Point which
would be closer to your ro erty if you rather go there. The inspections will be handled
out of that office also. Their mailing a ress is Cedar Point Blvd. They are locate
n Hwy 24 toward Swansboro ee Station and the Best Western in the
