Statement of Compliance and Consistency
This permit is subject to compliance with this application, site drawing and attached general and specific conditions. Any
violation of these terms may subject the permittee to a fine or criminal or civil action; and may cause the permit to become
null and void.
This permit must be on the project site and accessible to the permit officer when the project is inspected for compliance. The
applicant certifies by signing this permit that 1) prior to undertaking any activities authorized by this permit, the applicant will
confer with appropriate local authorities to confirm that this project is consistent with the local land use plan and all local
ordinances, and 2) a written statement or certified mail return receipt has been obtained from the adjacent riparian
landowner(s) .
The State of North Carolina and the Division of Coastal Management, in issuing this permit under the best available
information and belief, certify that this project is consistent with the North Carolina Coastal Management Program.

THIS DEED, made this 171h day of June, 2003, by and between JOHN R. JONES
and wife, LOIS B. JONES, hereinafter referred to as Grantors, and SHANE RONALD
CODERRE, hereinafter referred to as Grantee;
WIT NESSETH:
That the Grantors, for a valuable consideration paid by the Grantee, the receipt of
which is hereby acknowledged, have and by these presents do grant, bargain, sell, and
convey unto the Grantee, his heirs and assigns, in fee simple, that certain lot or parcel of
land situated in White Oak Township, Carteret County, North Carolina, and more
particularly described as follows:
BEING all of Tract labeled "Island I", containing 2.9 acres as shown upon plat
entitled, "Project Survey for: John R. Jones", prepared by Cyrus Alan Bell,
RLS No. L-2699, dated May 11, 1989, recorded in Map Book 27, Page 79,
Carteret County Registry, said recorded plat being incorporated herein by
this reference for the purpose of providing a particular description.
This conveyance is made subject to that certain perpetual right of way and
easement dated May 2, 1928 from John S. Jones and wife, May F. Jones to
the State of North Carolina recorded in Book 60, Page 278, in the Office of
the Clerk of Superior Court for Carteret County, North Carolina.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD, the aforesaid lot or parcel of land and all privileges and
appurtenances thereto belonging to the Grantee, his heirs and assigns, in fee simple,
subject to the described perpetual easement.
And the Grantors do covenant that they are seized of the premises in fee simple,
and have the right to convey the same, that the same is free and clear of all
encumbrances, and that they will warrant and defend the title herein conveyed against the
lawful claims of all persons whomsoever.
