Box 530 Windsor, North Carolina, 27983 Proposed installation of water line under Wading Place Creek and Sutton Creek Dear Mr. Phillips: The Division of Coastal Management has reviewed your 24 January 2002 correspondence objecting to the above referenced project. The installation of a 6" water tine under Wading Place Creek and Sutton Creek along Cooper Hill Road (NC Navy 308) near Windsor as proposed is consistent with North Carolina Administrative Code 07H .1600 (Sec Attached). The water line will be installed within the 100' right-of-way along NC Hwy 308. The project as proposed is consistent with the appropriate rules and regulations of this Division. Therefore, on 19 February 2002 Guy Pearce of my staff issued CAMA General Permit No. 30800-B in Bertic County authorizing the aforementioned project. (See Attached) If you wish to appeal this permit decision, you may file a request with the Director of the Division of Coastal Management, Department of Environment and Natural Resources within 20 days of the permit decision.
