This permit is subject to compliance with this application, site drawing
and attached general and specific conditions. Any violation of these terms
may subject the permittee to a fine, imprisonment or civil action; and
may cause the permit to become null and void.
This permit must be on the project site and accessible to the permit of-
ficer when the project is inspected for compliance. The applicant certi-
fies by signing this permit that 1) this project is consistent with the local
land use plan and all local ordinances, and 2) a written statement has
been obtained from adjacent riparian landowners certifying that they
have no objections to the proposed work.
In issuing this permit the State of North Carolina certifies that this project
is consistent with the North Carolina Coastal Management Program.

I am the property owner of Lot #18 on Archer's Creek Drive in Emerald Isle, NC (Lot #18 of
Block G in the Archer's Point Subdivision).
I recently received a letter from Dr. Calvin J. Willis the owner of Lot#19 of Archer's Creek
Drive (7223 Archer's Creek Drive, Emerald Isle, NC). In Dr. Willis' letter dated 8-20-01, he
asked that I waive my adjacent riparian property rights for the construction of a dock. I have
replied to Dr. Willis in a letter dated 8-22-01 stating that I DO NOT desire to waive my
riparian property rights.
This letter is to inform the Division of Coastal Management that I DO NOT desire to waive
my riparian property rights. In addition, I request that I be informed if Dr. Willis' chooses to
pursue construction.
