Statement of Compliance and Consistency
This permit is subject to compliance with this application, site drawing and attached general and specific conditions. Any
violation of these terms may subject the permittee to a fine or criminal or civil action; and may cause the permit to become
null and void.
This permit must be on the project site and accessible to the permit officer when the project is inspected for compliance. The
applicant certifies by signing this permit that 1) prior to undertaking any activities authorized by this permit, the applicant will
confer with appropriate local authorities to confirm that this project is consistent with the local land use plan and all local
ordinances, and 2) a written statement or certified mail return receipt has been obtained from the adjacent riparian
landowner(s) .
The State of North Carolina and the Division of Coastal Management, in issuing this permit under the best available
information and belief, certify that this project is consistent with the North Carolina Coastal Management Program.

I am writing to acknowledge our concerns with the proposal by our
prospective neighbors in Godfrey Creek Estates. Our property is located at
1230 Blue Bill, and the applicants are located adjacent to our lot, to the
west of our property. The property owner statement we received is illegible
with regard to their names, but we know that their first names are Lenny and
Pat. Their last name is something like like Petrovich, but that may be way
off. The address given on the statement (1240 Blue Bill) also seems to be
in error since the property is adjacent to ours and we are 1230 Blue Bill.
The return address on the envelope reads: Lynch, 51 Parson Road,
Grantsboro, NC, but the property owners live in Pennsylvania, so this may be
the seawall's manufacturer.
The wall is to be a vinyl seawall by Shore Guard, #225, and will be 136
linear feet, with 8 foot vertical ends (152 total feet).
We are simply not certain if their proposal will cause damage to our lot,
and would like to have that reviewed by your office. We would also want to
be advised if possible of what protective measures we should take in the
event that the proposal is approved. Thank you very much for your help.
