This permit is subject to compliance with this application, site drawing
and attached general and specific conditions. Any violation of these terms
may subject the permittee to a fine, imprisonment or civil action; and
may cause the permit to become null and void.
This permit must be on the project site and accessible to the permit of-
ficer when the project is inspected for compliance. The applicant certi-
fies by signing this permit that 1) this project is consistent with the local
land use plan and all local ordinances, and 2) a written statement has
been obtained from adjacent riparian landowners certifying that they
have no objections to the proposed work.
In issuing this permit the State of North Carolina certifies that this project
is consistent with the North Carolina Coastal Management Program.

DESCRIPTION AND/OR DRAWING OF PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT
(To be filled in by individual proposing development)
Construction of a L pier on Taylor's Creek approximately
of the size and location as shown on the attached
drawing in connection with the future construction of
a house on Lot 6. A lift for a boat 25 feet or less
could possibly be located on the north (shore) side
of the 35 foot section, and a larger vessel could be
located on the east side of the 50 foot span.
The dock would be carried out in conjunction with the
maintenance dredging of Cowpen Creek scheduled t,o take
place during the late fall of 2001 or the winter of
2002.

P.O. Box 150, Beaufort, NC 28516 in the attached self addressed stamped
as soon °as possible.
Should you have objections to this proposal, please send your written comments to the
NC Division of Coastal Management, 151-B Hwy. 24, Hestron Plaza 11, Morehead City, NC,
28557. Written comments must be received within ten (10) days of receipt of this notice.
Failure to respond in either method within ten (IQ) days will be interpreted as no
objection.
