Statement of Compliance and Consistency
This permit is subject to compliance with this application, site drawing and attached general and specific conditions. Any
violation of these terms may subject the permittee to a fine or criminal or civil action; and may cause the permit to become
null and void.
This permit must be on the project site and accessible to the permit officer when the project is inspected for compliance. The
applicant certifies by signing this permit that 1) prior to undertaking any activities authorized by this permit, the applicant will
confer with appropriate local authorities to confirm that this project is consistent with the local land use plan and all local
ordinances, and 2) a written statement or certified mail return receipt has been obtained from the adjacent riparian
landowner(s) .
The State of North Carolina and the Division of Coastal Management, in issuing this permit under the best available
information and belief, certifythat this project is consistentwith the North Carolina Coastal Management Program.

Dredging:
Dredging of Boat Slip #1 Spooners Creek. North, Morehead City/ Carteret County, North
Carolina.
-Dredging to include inside perimeter of slip.
-Slip dimensions 13' wide by 28' long
-Dredging not to exceed 1000 cubic yards of material. Approximately 3.5' at mean low
tide inside the perimeter of Boat Slip #1 at Spooners Creek North.
*Please see attatched drawings 1 and 2
Boat Lift:
Pilings are existing for boat lift.
-Pilings are in place 13' x 13' square.
-Proposed to install Tide Tamer 13' x 13% 10,0001b.capacity aluminum boat lift and
electric service to said lift.
Spoils will either be removed by dredging company, or transported, dumped, and
spread evenly on lot # 42 which I own. If transported to lot # 42 it will be done so
according to all applicable building codes and within existing limits of restrictive
covenants set forth for Spooners Creek North Subdivision.
APPROVED WITH THE FOLLOWING EXCEPTION: There will be NO off loading
of spoils in the marina area. August 18, 2002
