Site 1 is located 0.05 miles and Site 2 is located 0.28 miles North of SR 1229 Vickie Dr. The stabilization will occur on an eroded bank that has collapsed along SR 1203 causing the shoulder of the road and substructure to become unstable. The Division of Coastal Management considers the project area to be within an AEC that requires authorization for the shoulder stabilization. Division Engineer, Division One Clay Willis Environmental Officer, Division One ADJACENT RIPARIAN LANDOWNER STATEMENT ( Pasquotank County: Shoreline Stabilization on SR 1203 Driftwood Drive) General Statute 113-229 requires that riparian landowners with property adjoining a proposed development in an Area of Environmental Concern (AEC) be given ten (10) days in which to comment on the proposed development. This form allows the adjacent riparian landowner to express either: (1) that he objects to the project; or (2) that he does not object and desires to waive his/her right to the 10 -day period so that the processing of the application can progress more rapidly. Of course, the adjacent riparian landowner need not sign this form at all if he/she so chooses. No response within 10 days following receipt of this letter and form will be construed to mean the adjacent riparian landowner has no objections.
