may subject the permittee to a fine, imprisonment or civil action; and
may cause the permit to become null and void.
This permit must be on the project site and accessible to the permit of-
ficer when the project is inspected for compliance. The applicant certi-
fies by signing this permit that 1) this project is consistent with the local
land use plan and all local ordinances, and 2) a written statement has
been obtained from adjacent riparian landowners certifying that they
have no objections to the proposed work.

SUBJECT: Site Inspection of 129 Palmetto Dr.
Carteret County
Dear Mr. Nelson:
On October 6, 2000, a follow-up site inspection was conducted at your property that is
located in Carteret County at 129 Palmetto Dr. adjacent to the White Oak River. The
purpose of this visit was to determine whether or not the proposed bulkhead and pier was
constructed in accordance with permit guidelines.
It was determined that the bulkhead and pier had been placed pursuant to the CAMA and
Dredge & Fill General Permit No. 26925-C issued to you on September 25, 2000. A
copy of the permit and the rules associated with such development (15NCAC 07H.1100
General Permit for Construction of Bulkheads and the Placement of Riprap for Shoreline
protection in Estuarine and Public Trust Waters) and (15NCAC 07H.1200 General
Permit for Construction of Piers: Docks: and Boat Houses in Estuarine and Public Trust
Water) are attached for your review.
