This permit authorized the construction and/or placement of rip rap and a pier and/or platform structure along the shoreline of property located at 1601 Rivershore Road, Elizabeth City within the waters of the Pasquotank River. On June 15, 2000 a site visit was conducted to determine and confirm that your project was completed in accordance with the Specific Conditions concerning rip rap shoreline stabilization and pier and/or platform structures as referenced in Subchapter 15A, Section 7H .1100 and 7H .1200 of the North Carolina Administrative Code and the Coastal Area Management Act. During this inspection, it became apparent that you have not completed all the work proposed and previously authorized under the above referenced General Permit. As a courtesy, I wish to remind you that CAMA Permit 24270A expired on May 16, 2000. Since the remaining work falls within the permit jurisdictional areas defined as Estuarine Waters and/or Public Trust Area, as described in Subchapter 7H .0206 and .0207 respectively, of the North Carolina Administrative Code, a permit / or other necessary authorization will be required from this Division prior to the completion of this project as originally approved in CAMA General Permit 24270A. Thank you for your time and cooperation in regard to this matter. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at (252) 264-3901. Sincerely, TD*s .
