This permit authorized the construction and/or placement of a boatlift structure along the shoreline of property located at 624 Whitehat Road, near the Town of Hertford, within the waters of the Perquimans River in Perquimans County. On November 2, 2000 a site visit was conducted to determine and confirm that your project was completed in accordance with the Specific Conditions concerning boat lift structures as referenced in Subchapter T15A, Section 7H .1200 of the North Carolina Administrative Code and the Coastal Area Management Act. During this inspection, I noted that all the work proposed and previously authorized under the above referenced General Permit has not been completed. This permit authorized the placement of two boatlift structures. Although it appears that the piling work may be complete, no lift beams or actual mechanical lift devices appear to have been installed as of this inspection date. As a courtesy, I wish to remind you that CAMA Permit 25498A expires on November 4, 2000. Since the remaining work falls within the permit jurisdictional areas defined as Estuarine Waters and/or Public Trust Area, as described in Subchapter T15A, Section 7H .0206 and .0207, respectively, of the North Carolina Administrative Code, a permit will be required from this Division prior to the completion of this project as originally approved in CAMA General Permit 02598A. Thank you for your time and cooperation in regard to this matter. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at (252) 264-3901. Sincerely qlj— Dennis W.
