This permit is subject to compliance with this application, site drawing
and attached general and specific conditions. Any violation of these terms
may subject the permittee to a fine, imprisonment or civil action; and
may cause the permit to become null and void.
This permit must be on the project site and accessible to the permit of-
ficer when the project is inspected for compliance. The applicant certi-
fies by signing this permit that 1) this project is consistent with the local
land use plan and all local ordinances, and 2) a written statement has
been obtained from adjacent riparian landowners certifying that they
have no objections to the proposed work.
In issuing this permit the State of North Carolina certifies that this project
is consistent with the North Carolina Coastal Management Program.

land adjoining the Pamlico County Boat Ditch permit number 19-93 and it's renewal located
on property owned by Cyrus F. Lee and his wife, Virginia B. Lee. Additionally, the
undersigned are the only property owners who own land adjoining the lot now owned by
Cyrus F. Lee and his wife, Virginia B. Lee on which the clean -out refuse is to be deposited
and piled up to dry out.
We, the undersigned property owner, have no objection to the issuance of a permit
for the cleaning out of the aforesaid Boat Ditch, and the refuse from it being deposited on
the adjoining lot owned by Mr. and Mrs. Lee.

RE: Boat Ditch - Pamlico County - Permit No. 19-93 and renewal
Dear Mr. Johnson:
I am enclosing herewith two signed statements of all of the property owners adjoining
the above indicated boat ditch. I also enclose a copy of it for your file.
This statement is furnished to you to satisfy the requirement that Mr. Jones of CAMA
indicated would be all that would be necessary to permit you to clean out the boat ditch.
I am ready to go forward with the work. However, I think it would be helpful if we
have some written memorandum of our understanding as to the costs.
As I remember, you quoted $500.00 as the moving expense ($250.00 to come over
and $250.00 to go back), and that the remaining work would be done by the hour at the rate
of $100.00 per hour for the time the machine was operating. It would be understood that you
would operate as an independent contractor doing this job.
