This permit is subject to compliance with this application, site drawing
and attached general and specific conditions. Any violation of these terms
may subject the permittee to a fine, imprisonment or civil action; and
may cause the permit to become null and void.
This permit must be on the project site and accessible to the permit of-
ficer when the project is inspected for compliance. The applicant certi-
fies by signing this permit that 1) this project is consistent with the local
land use plan and all local ordinances, and 2) a written statement has
been obtained from adjacent riparian landowners certifying that they
have no objections to the proposed work.
In issuing this permit the State of North Carolina certifies that this project
is consistent with the North Carolina Coastal Management Program.

In addition to the General and Specific Conditions listed in 15A NCAC 07H.1200-.1205,
the following limitations and conditions shall apply:
1. All portions of the proposed structure shall not exceed the 80 ft. setback from the
near edge of the federally maintained channel (AIWW),
2. No attempt shall be made by the permittee to prevent the full and free use by the
public of all navigable waters at or adjacent to the authorized work.
3. The authorized structure and associated activity must not cause an unacceptable
interference with navigation.
4. The permittee must install and maintain any signal lights and / or signals
prescribed by the U.S. Coast Guard, through regulations or otherwise, on
authorized facilities.
5. Contact the Carteret County Building Inspections to obtain required local
building permit(s).
6. Piers authorized by this general permit shall be for the exclusive use of the
landowner, or occupant and shall not provide either leased or rented docking
space or any other commercial services.

Attached is General Permit #C-24526 to install a 6' X 27' pier with a 8' X 26' "T", and to
install 4 tie poles at the terminus of NC Hwy 101, north of Beaufort, in the community of Core
Creek.
In order to validate this permit, please sign all three (3) copies as indicated. Retain the white
copy for your files and return the yellow and pink signed copies to us in the enclosed, self-
addressed envelope.
