Statement of Compliance and Consistency
This permit is subject to compliance with this application, site drawing and attached general and specific conditions. Any
violation of these terms may subject the permittee to a fine or criminal or civil action; and may cause the permit to become
null and void.
This permit must be on the project site and accessible to the permit officer when the project is inspected for compliance. The
applicant certifies by signing this permit that 1) prior to undertaking any activities authorized by this permit, the applicant will
confer with appropriate local authorities to confirm that this project is consistent with the local land use plan and all local
ordinances, and 2) a written statement or certified mail return receipt has been obtained from the adjacent riparian
landowner(s) .
The State of North Carolina and the Division of Coastal Management, in issuing this permit under the best available
information and belief, certify that this project is consistent with the North Carolina Coastal Management Program.

Request for permits
Dear Mr. Davenport
Pine Knoll Association requests a permit to replace the boat ramp at Davis
Landing on Loblolly Drive in Pine Knoll Shores. We are also requesting a permit
to excavate up to 99.5 cubic yards of material under and around the purposed
boat ramp.
We want to remove the existing boat ramp, as per the attached drawing,
excavate enough material to allow for an 11 degree slope, and replace the
concrete ramp with one of the same size. The new ramp will be built in
compliance with existing regulations.
Please find enclosed our check in the amount of $200.00 for a permit to build the
boat ramp, a check in the amount of $400.00 for a permit to excavate, permission
from the adjacent riparian owners, and drawings of the proposed construction.

Pine Knoll Association is applying for a permit to replace the
boat ramp at Davis Landing. The ramp that was built in
October 2006 turned out to be unusable. We want to take up
the existing ramp, excavate an area in the canal approximately
40'x40', and replace the ramp with one of the same size. This
construction should in no way affect the use of your dock or
boat lift. Please see the attached drawings.��
