violation of these terms may subject the permittee to a fine or criminal or civil action; and may cause the permit to become
null and void.
This permit must be on the project site and accessible to the permit officer when the project is inspected for compliance. The
applicant certifies by signing this permit that 1) prior to undertaking any activities authorized by this permit, the applicant will
confer with appropriate local authorities to confirm that this project is consistent with the local land use plan and all local
ordinances, and 2) a written statement or certified mail return receipt has been obtained from the adjacent riparian
landowner(s) .

Dear Sir or Madam:
We have received your Certified Letter proposing a public park on Newton Creek. As
adjacent property owner, we have some issues that need to be addressed.
1. Matthew's Road is not state maintained. The property owners that use the road
currently maintain it. Will the county maintain the road?
2. The portable rest rooms will have and odor! Our home will be closer to them than
the campsites will be. What happened to the electric rest rooms that incinerate the waste?
3. The placement of the picnic shelter is a concern also. Will we still be able to launch
a motor boat on a trailer? We currently use the ramp because we can't get permission to
have our portion of Newton Creek dredged. Will the shelter block our view of the bay?
4. Do you still plan to lock the entrance at night? Will we have access at all times?
5. May we have a small gate for our personal use in the fence facing the river?
