Statement of Compliance and Consistency
This permit is subject to compliance with this application, site drawing and attached general and specific conditions. Any
violation of these terms may subject the permittee to a fine or criminal or civil action; and may cause the permit to become
null and void.
This permit must be on the project site and accessible to the permit officer when the project is inspected for compliance. The
applicant certifies by signing this permit that 1) prior to undertaking any activities authorized by this permit, the applicant will
confer with appropriate local authorities to confirm that this project is consistent with the local land use plan and all local
ordinances, and 2) a written statement or certified mail return receipt has been obtained from the adjacent riparian
landowner(s) .
The State of North Carolina and the Division of Coastal Management, in issuing this permit under the best available
information and belief, certifythatthis project is consistentwith the North Carolina Coastal Management Program.

the requirements of CAMA for my new proposed Sea Wall. Enclosed you will find a
copy of my property Survey. I have highlighted the proposed area of construction for
your consideration as our walls tie together in the area shaded in green
Guss, if this project meets with your approval please execute this letter and send it back
to me at your earliest. I will give the executed copy to William Dennis who is in contact

Dear Ariadne:
Trust this letter finds you well. Ariadne I am planning to have my Sea Wall rebuilt as it
is starting to fail in several places. I meet with a contractor whom I have contracted with
to rebuild my existing Sea Wall. This work will start on or about February 20, 2007.
The contractor will get a permit from CAMA to initiate the work on my Sea Wall. I also
need approval from you as my neighbor to commence this work. Enclosed you will find
a copy of my land survey. I have highlighted the area of proposed work in yellow.
Please note that where our properties adjoin there is significant erosion. The wall on your
property is failing just adjacent to my property. I have circled the area of concern on
your property in green. If you would like I can send you some pictures of this affected
area.
If you have no objections to my new Sea Wall please execute this letter and send in back
to me in the enclosed stamped envelope.
