Budkhea&DOck Reconstruction at 5211 Webb Court, M'oreltead City, NC Dear Cecil & Judy: Unfortunately, it appears that a good part of our existing bulkhead is failing, and Chuck Bissette of T.D. Eure Construction has recommended replacing it. Unfortunately, this will necessitate replacing the existing dock as well. The new dock will essentially occupy the footprint of the old, although I hope I can elevate it a little bit more, as our, water levels seem to be rising. Chuck tells he will not need to remove or replace the existing boat lift. The approximate 15- 20 foot stretch of bulkhead running east from our property line with Jan Norris is in good condition and will not be replaced. As required by the CAMA regulations, I am enclosing an adjoining property owner's consent form, which I will ask you to sign and return to me in the enclosed self-addressed, stamped envelope. You will see that I have attempted in a very inartistic fashion to include a drawing of the proposed reconstruction. Chuck tells me that a sealed engineer's schematic is required in the process, and I will show you a copy when it is done.
