This permit is subject to complianci with this application, site
drawing and attached general and specific conditions. Any
violation of these terms may subject the permittee to a fine,
imprisonment or civil action; and may cause the permit to be-
come null and void.
This permit must be on the project site and accessible to the
permit officer when the project is inspected for compliance.
The applicant certifies by signing this permit that 1) this pro-
ject is consistent with the local land use plan and all local
ordinances, and 2) a written statement has been obtained from
adjacent riparian landowners certifying that they have no
objections to the proposed work.
In issuing this permit the State of North Carolina certifies that
this project is consistent with the North Carolina Coastal
Management Program.

Attached is General Permit #C-19965 to construct a boat lift and 200 ft. of bulkhead
on your property located at 105 Rock Court, in the Town of Swansboro.
In order to validate this permit, please sign all three (3) copies as indicated. Retain the

self-addressed envelope.

Please refer to General Permit #C-19965 to construct a boat lift and 200 ft. of bulkhead on my
property located at 105 Rock Court in the Town of Cape Carteret.
I have contracted with Mr. Richard Dobkins to do this work and he is expected to start within
the next fourteen days.
After reviewing the proposed location of the boat lift, I request that you allow me to construct it
adjacent to the south end of the dock ( toward the Straham Property) rather than in front of the
existing dock.This would allow my dock to remain more functional. Rather than lifting the boat
parallel to the dock it would be perpendicular with the boat bow near the seawall. Refer to the
attached sketch. There would be less bottom disturbance with this location because the existing
mooring pilings would not need to be moved.
My neighbors do not object to this change. and the measured distance the boat lift would be from
the Straham Property is in excess of forty five feet.
1 apologize for having not forseen this matter originally, but I will appreciate your consideration
and response.
