violation of these terms may subject the permittee to a fine,
imprisonment or civil action; and may cause the permit to be-
come null and void.
This permit must be on the project site and accessible to the
permit officer when the project is inspected for compliance.
The applicant certifies by signing this permit that 1) this pro-
ject is consistent with the local land use plan and all local
ordinances, and 2) a written statement has been obtained from
adjacent riparian landowners certifying that they have no
objections to the proposed work.

the dock over the 2-1/2 feet as we discussed. I have
called T. D. Eure Construction Company and told them to
proceed with this move as quickly as possible.

Dear Dana and Mary,

We hope you have enjoyed your long stay in Beaufort. It
is my favorite time of year there. I really enjoyed
meeting Mary and seeing all of her beautiful flowers and
shrubs.
I spoke with a CAMA representative to clarify the 15 foot
setback regulation from your new dock and our shared
property line. My understanding is that it is for the
ease of navigation and riparian rights. We do not wish
to give up any of those rights. My measurement shows
your floating dock to be approximately 12 112 feet from
our property line.
I have an additional concern with your request to move your
ramp to our shared property line. My understanding is that
our line runs through the middle of the breakwater (or rubble).
The old wooden bulkhead is still there. We do not wish
to have the breakwater torn down on our side. It has protected
our marsh and allowed it to flourish.
Our request is that you hold off on any further construction
until we are both in agreement on the precise location of
our common property line-- by eye or by survey.
We would appreciate hearing back from you about this.
