This permit is subject to compliance with this application, site
drawing and attached general and specific conditions. Any
violation of these terms may subject the permittee to a fine,
imprisonment or civil action; and may cause the permit to be-
come null and void.
This permit must be on the project site and accessible to the
permit officer when the project is inspected for compliance.
The applicant certifies by signing this permit that 1) this pro-
ject is consistent with the local land use plan and all local
ordinances, and 2) a written statement has been obtained from
adjacent riparian landowners certifying that they have no
objections to the proposed work.

SOMERSET PLANTATION
HOME OWNERS ASSOCIATION

The Somerset homer owners would like permission to perform maintenance dredging
on their Bogue Sound access channel at the end of Somerset Way on Hwy 24.
The total cu yds to be removed is 600. This will consist of redreging a 400ft X
20ft wide channel to a depth of 4ft from the boat launching ramp to the end of
the peninsula removing about 500cu yds of material. An area of 30ft X 30ft X
aft (100cu yds) will need to be dug out on the west side at the end of the
peninsula so that the barge can off load.

ADJACENT RIPARIAN LANDOWNERS STATEMENT
General Statute 113-229 requires that riparian landowners
with property adjoining a proposed excavation and/or. fill project
be given thirty (30) days in which to comment on the project.
This form allows the adjacent riparian landowner to express
either: (1) That he objects to the project; or, (2) That he does
not object and desires to waive his right to the 30-day period so
that the processing of the application can progress more rapidly.
Of course, the adjacent riparian landowner need not sign this
form at all if he so chooses.
