RE: An Objection to a Permit to Constnict a Pier and Boat Lift
Dear Mr. and Mrs. Rice:
I have reviewed Don and P. J. Meals request for a pier and boat lift with mooring pilings
adjacent lot A35 on Quork Court. in Colington Harbour, Dare Countv and conclude that the
proposal is consistent with those guidelines for development as described in Subchapter 07H of
the North Carolina Administrative Code. Therefore. on August 4. 1998, Permit # 017756A was
issued to Mr. and Mrs. Meals to construct a 4' x 18' pier with mooring pilings to accommodate
one boat lift (See Attached Permit).
If you wish to appeal this decision, you may file a request with the Director of the
Division of Coastal Management. Department of Environment and Natural Resources within
twenty (20) days of the permit decision. If you have any questions regarding this matter please
