Statement of Compliance and Consistency
This permit is subject to compliance with this application, site drawing and attached general and specific conditions. Any
violation of these terms may subject the permittee to a fine or criminal or civil action; and may cause the permit to become
null and void.
This permit must be on the project site and accessible to the permit officer when the project is inspected for compliance. The
applicant certifies by signing this permit that 1) prior to undertaking any activities authorized by this permit, the applicant will
confer with appropriate local authorities to confirm that this project is consistent with the local land use plan and all local
ordinances, and 2) a written statement or certified mail return receipt has been obtained from the adjacent riparian
landowner(s) .
The State of North Carolina and the Division of Coastal Management, in issuing this permit under the best available
information and belief, certifythatthis project is consistentwith the North Carolina Coastal Management Program.

It was such a pleasure to see all of the CAMA field representatives a couple of weeks ago. The marsh
and flats are none the worse for wear.
We were finally able to catch up with Bentley, so we now have our completed dock and walkway
application. It is attached, along with a check for $100.00. We hope that we can get a permit that
allows the cross ditch bridge and the dock in any location on the back lot, as we may shift more to one
side or the other after we talk with contractors. If that is not possible, let me know, and we will finalize
our exact location before we finalize the permit.
Please let me know if you need anything else in order to process the application.

wide across the wetlands portion of their lot and a dock of less than 400 sq. ft. in
the adjacent waters of Eastmouth Bay, and

will be at least 15 feet from adjacent property lines.
I have no objection to this proposed residential raised walkway and dock
construction.
